1. Analyse your webpages

Determine your primary content area for ads location. Large ad unit sizes work best. Also, well presented content will attract better advertisers.

2. Set up custom channels

Custom channels is like a labelling system that help you determine which ad units perform the best. Is an important tool to analyse and optimise your Adsense ads earning.

3. Optimise your ad unit design and placement

After get results from custom channels, start optimise your ad unit design and placement.

There are 3 areas to improve: Ad Size (which work best for sidebar, top banner and footer ad), Ad Colours (Blend background, Borderless, Highlight link colours and URL) and Ad Position (put near where viewers look for information).

4. Maximise revenue from multiple units

Try to put in multiple ad units to maximise revenue. Remember, the first ad unit on the page always shows the top ads. It means the first ad should make you more money per click than other ad units. So, choose your first ad unit position wisely.

5. Track and measure your results

Create report to track your ad units performance and do necessary changes to maximize Adsense revenue.

How to get the most out of AdSense

There are three obvious ways to increase your income from Google AdSense…

1) Increase traffic

2) Increase click-through rate
Use simple design with the AdSense ads displayed prominently. According to Google, ads in the skyscraper format works better (especially on the right side of the page). Focus to only one topic per page – that should make it easier for Google to serve up the more tightly contextual ads which means better click-through.

3) Increase the value of clicks
Of course, you can’t do it directly. However, you can find some “expensive” keywords and create pages optimized for them, within your site’s theme. These keywords are highly competitive and you’ll unlikely get high ranking for them, but visitors will arrive from other “inexpensive” pages and click on Google’s ads.

Now TMNet is also changing their Streamyx Package Details where you can see the at ‘xv’ which is new, before this I don’t see such like this when signing up.

I don’t know why they do that, as for current and new applications to apply streamyx, this is absolutely unfair and offense user right of usage both customer. We pay their service to connect everybody not just our own country, for what having internet if you cannot access international link, that will be ridiculous.

If you understand what is internet, basically, you access to a website, a internet means international, TMNet must note internet is not same meaning like intranet. Look at the dictionary, internet (means at Wikipedia) a global network of interconnected computers, enabling users to share information along multiple channels. So why TMNet misunderstand the words internet, maybe their english went bad too.

Most of our trasactions now based on international link, if we don’t have or we do have, but certain and sometimes or badly cannot access, our country income will decrease because we leak at international link over internet. The client will be disstisfied and find new other serice, which is better. Why TMNet doing this to their customer, just want gain and enjoy our money…? TMNet must change their nature habbits…

Thus their incoming NGN core upgrade will more trottling to P2P software, this will slow for heavy downloader such rapidshare, megaupload dan etc.
